What is it about weddings that you love so much?

Who the heck falls in love? It’s crazy! If two people can fall in love, then find the guts to commit to that, and then decide to celebrate it with their friends and family, how lucky am I to be invited to come along and lead the proceedings. I’m the luckiest guy at a wedding. Well, maybe the second or third luckiest. But I’m up there!

What is the most unique thing you’ve seen at a wedding?

Every single day, I see unique at weddings. That’s my thing. From the few moments I listened in science class in grade nine I learnt that a person is scientifically and mathematically unique and different, one in six billion. If two of these unique people got together and planned a party, it really should be a unique wedding. If two of my weddings are the same I’ll probably quit the game.

What do you do in your free time?

My spare time is usually spent with my best friend, and wife, Britt. Our favourite things to do together is travel, either to the next suburb or across the equator to the other side of the world, or we get addicted to TV shows.

In a nutshell, who are you and what do you do?

I’m a young, civil marriage celebrant working with amazing couples to craft creative and engaging wedding ceremonies.

What is it about weddings that you love so much?

The ceremony of course! I love helping to create and being a part of engaging and vibrant wedding ceremonies. Ceremonies that are expressive and exciting can easily be the most memorable and lasting part of the day.

In my role as a celebrant, I also love meeting those couples that immediately go away as friends. I can always be confident that going forward, I will get to share in the growth and strengthening of their marriage. That’s pretty amazing!

What do you do in your free time?

I’m an explorer and an adventurer. I love seeking out wild and exciting parts of the world in my free time. When I can’t escape the urban, I lose myself in a book or a big pile of wool or fabric. I also love to dance!

What is it about weddings that you love so much?

Everything! The joy felt by everyone on the day. The looks exchanged between the bride and the groom. The sheer happiness of the whole event!

What is the most unique thing you’ve seen at a wedding?

I love unique vows. I especially love vows that haven’t been heard by the other party. Watching their reactions is the best.

If you were a colour, which colour would you be, and why?

Yellow; bright, optimistic, warm & fun.

I am retro loving, tattoo toting civil marriage celebrant and wife with three gorgeous young kids and two mischievous sausage dogs.

Skate boarding groom and groomsmen
